This hotel is simply heaven! We found ourselves in the middle of the rain forest, literally, there were thousands of trees, our bungalow was adorable, like a little hobbit house. We loved the location as the river was right there, so we got plenty of swimming during the stay. Waking up being greeted by the monkeys was a highlight. Note about monkeys: Do not eat on your balcony, do not keep food in your bungalow, do not walk to your bungalow with a bag of chips or snacks, do not open the bathroom windows and windows in the room, only the middle ones... Monkeys are fine if you keep these rules, we took a lot of pictures and videos as they came to visit at least once a day. The staff is quick to intervene if the monkeys get naughty, which was nice! The staff booked us 3 tours, one was a day and night jungle trekking with dinner cooked in the jungle on bamboo by our wonderful guide Bam, I strongly reccomend him as he was very experienced and pointed out tons of hidden animals plus some eadible leaves and berries which we tried during the trekking. This jungle trekking tour was the absolute highlight of our trip, thanks to our guide Bam and the night trekking was terrifying/thrilling, we asolutely loved it! We also did tubbing down the river which was amazing and a one night stay at Khao Sok Lake on a floating bungalow with the most stunning views, all organized by the hotel staff... breakfast was delicious and we sat right by the river every morning. Of course there are a little bit of bugs, mosquitos, etc... What do you expect? You are in the middle of the jungle and that alone is priceless... The fond memories of our stay at the Arts River Lodge will stay in our memories for many years to come... I will definitely return as soon as I can becuase this place is magical!!!

Had an amazing one night stay at Art's and wish we had had time to stay longer! The property was beautiful, it's well immersed in the jungle. Just walking around and seeing the monkeys, birds, plants and swimming in the river was peaceful and fun. The room was spacious and comfortable, we thought it was even nicer than the pictures, expecially the bathroom. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from other restaurants and convenience stores in the town area, which made it more peaceful and retreat-like. On top of everything, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We booked an overnight lake tour with them and they also helped us to arrange a slightly complicated transfer following the tour. They were kind and quickly responsive to all questions via email prior to arrival and even more lovely in person. Hope to come back in the future!

Good breakfasts served in a restaurant beautifully situated by the river. The lodge is located off the beaten path, yet close to the main street and the entrance to the park. Our lodge had a balcony with a beautiful view, but not all lodges had such balconies. A tuk-tuk service is available on site for an additional fee and upon prior reservation. If you want to get to the main minivan departure point and you have luggage, it is better to take a tuk-tuk. Reservation of additional attractions is available on site, although we organized a cruise on the lake ourselves for the two of us, which turned out to be cheaper than the one offered at the facility.

Absolutely amazing scenery in the middle of the jungle! The Lodge is located right next to a huge limestone mountain with a turquoise blue river flowing next to the restaurant. The food was delicious and the prices are amazing too! The treehouses are extremely beautiful and naturally built and I felt very welcome and relaxed. I recommend doing the day trip to kao sok lake and also doing a small hike from the national park HQ which is only a 10-15 minute walk from the lodge. I would recommend this to anyone!

If you want something special and love nature, this place is great :D You can swim in the creek in the morning, near where the monkeys are living in cliff caves...beds are quite comfortable and have mosquito nets, room is filled with fresh air, shower has warm water and huge bathroom...essentially camping but with the worst parts taken out :) Restaurant has amazing food and sauces. Breakfast was a buffet and has Thai/Western food, fresh and good. Facilities were clean and well-lit at night.
